Situation:

Alice works for a government organization as an Occupational Therapist (OT). She holds a leadership role in her team and has made numerous presentations at workshops/conferences sharing her expertise. She wanted to start teaching part-time at a college. She reached out to me to help her craft her Curriculum Vitae (CV) and an updated resume.

Solution:

Her CV needed to address her research/teaching experience (all her presentations, papers authored or collaborated), and her educational and training background. Her resume, on the other hand, required to be updated and be skills and accomplishment based. What OT expertise did she bring to the table? What was unique about her value?

Success:

Alice also needed a quick turnaround time for both documents. In her own words, I “asked exactly the right questions to get a clearer picture” of her “background and skills and in less than 48 hours”, I helped her craft a beautiful new CV and resume that she can easily tailor to different positions and that she’s proud to share. She has several interviews scheduled.
